The Collier Cyclones 14-and-under baseball team recently finished second in the IBC Clash in the Cape tournament.

The K6 Sports Winter Basketball League crowned its champions in the developmental, junior varsity and varsity divisions. The games were held at the Barron Collier High School gym on Saturday.

Gymnastics World of Fort Myers Level 8 and 10 gymnasts excelled in their respective age divisions at last weekend’s IGI Chicago Style meet. The meet is the world’s largest and drew more than 4,300 gymnasts.

Saturday was a good day for the North Naples Middle School basketball program as both the girls and boys teams took home championship trophies.

Manatee Middle School defeated Golden Gate Middle 3-0 to win the Collier County boys middle school championship. Forward Sergio Alfaro scored two goals in the second half to lead Manatee to victory.

After eight years playing in the Orange Bowl Youth Football league, the Naples Gators will begin playing closer to home next season.

Nick Rogers, a captain for the Gulf Coast boys soccer team this past season, and his Lee County Strikers team won the 18-and-under title recently at the 3v3 World Championships at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando.

The Naples Bears wrestling club had three individual champions Jan. 15 at the Games of Rome national tournament in Kissimmee. Eleven Bears finished in the top five in their age and weight groups.
